I play the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game, which according to the official sales pitch is “an imaginative, social experience that engages players in a rich fantasy world filled with larger-than-life heroes, deadly monsters, and diverse settings.”
I think perhaps one of the best ways of summing it up comes from a certain advertisement comparing it to the ever-popular MMORPGs like World of Warcraft.
This section of my site is mainly for those already “in the know” about D&D, who are interested in the things I've created relating to it. As I am a DM, the list is nontrivial:
- An Introduction to Eberron
-
Gives an overview of what a typical adventurer in the Eberron campaign setting would know about the world, for players who are just being introduced to it.
It's been updated for 4th edition, and even includes a story-rich way of integrating the Genasi into Eberron.
- Monsters
-
There aren't really enough solo monsters out there in the existing sourcebooks, so I've spent some time creating my own on several occassions.
- 2006–2007 Eberron Campaign Diaries
-
During my first year at college, I ran a rather successful and fun 3.5-edition Eberron campaign, and several of my players thought it would be cool to document their characters' experiences in a campaign diary. Although the blog format makes things a bit weird to read, use the categories on the sidebar appropriately and you should be able to get something chronological. Hopefully I'll eventually move these over to my website, so that I have better organizational control.
